 Yushin
commercialized servo-driven, traverse type take-out robot with superior
price-performance "YA/YAII series" and starts to receive orders
by customers on June 6th. Yushin is the dedicated supplier of take-out
robots for injection molding machines, carrying the motto "Heartful
Technology" (President Mayumi Kotani, headquarters in Kyoto City,
capital of 1.98566 billion yen).
This "YA/YAII series" is developed as successor of "VSX/VSXII series"
released in March 2004.
This time, 6 models are commercialized : YA-100 and YAII-100 applicable
for a molding machine with a clamping force 80~130t, YA-150 and
YAII-150 for a clamping force 100~220t, YA-250 and YAII-250 for
a clamping force 180~300t. They have two types respectively, S type
with product arm and D type with both product arm and runner arm.
YAII is different from YA in the structure of vertical arm(s). YAII
series robot has 2-stage telescopic vertical arm(s) applicable for
low-ceiling plants, reducing its overall height.
"YA/YAII series" is equipped with compact and user-friendly new
type controller, "E-touch compact controller" as a main feature.
It offers excellent operability with a 7.5 inch colored LCD panel
and function keys. Quick response of picture conversion enables
fast operation.
Features of "E-touch compact controller"
(i) Equipped as standard with "Lead Through Teaching", which enables
operators to change motion programs by themselves.
(ii)AEquipped with Ethernet which can be used when adapting the
production management control package software "Mold Mate Professional".
(iii) Easy-to-handle design for user-friendliness
(iv) The edge-protector cushions the controller case if dropped.
(v) SD card is adopted as a memory medium. Teaching data can be
backed up in the SD card and data copy to another robot is also
possible.
"YA/YAII series" obtains high-grade rigidity by adopting steel frame
on traverse axis (main drive axis) and it offers higher accuracy
and high-speed operation. It demonstrates its ability in high value-added
production such as production with short molding cycle.
Yushin demonstrates "YAII-250S" at NPE held in Chicago, USA from
June 19th.
