Yushin commercialized two models of take-out
robot for large and ultra-large size molding machine
as new models of "YA/YAII series" and starts to
receive orders by customers on October 2nd.
"YA/YAII series" is servo-driven, traverse type
take-out robot series with superior price-performance
having been sold since last June. Yushin is the dedicated
supplier of take-out robots for injection molding machines, carrying the motto "Heartful Technology" (President Mayumi Kotani, headquarters in Kyoto City, capital of 1.98566 billion yen).

This time, 2 models are commercialized: YAII-1800 applicable for a molding machine with a clamping force 1500~2000t and YAII-3000 for a clamping force more than 1500t. These models are suitable to handling of large to ultra-large molded products such as automotive-related, major appliance and housing-related products. Including these two models, the number of YA/YAII series amounts to 16 models.

They can be installed in low-ceiling plants by featuring 2-stage telescopic arm for shortening the robot's overall height. YAII-1800 has S type and D type and YAII-3000 only S type; S type is equipped with single arm for product extraction and D type with both product-side arm and runner-side arm.

"YA/YAII series" is equipped with compact and user-friendly new type controller, "E-touch compact controller" as a main feature. It offers excellent operability with a 7.5 inch colored LCD touch panel and function keys. Quick response of picture conversion enables fast operation.

Features of "E-touch compact controller"

(i) Equipped as standard with "Lead Through Teaching", which enables operators to change motion programs by themselves.

(ii) Equipped with Ethernet which can be used when adapting the production management control package software "Mold Mate Professional".

(iii) Easy-to-handle design for user-friendliness

(iv) The edge-protector cushions the controller case if dropped.

(v) SD card is adopted as a memory medium. Teaching data can be backed up in the SD card and data copy to another robot is also possible.

Yushin has been focusing on the development of middle-to-large take-out robots. As a result, the number of the orders received and sales of middle-to-large take-out robot has nearly doubled in recent five years.
