Yushin
completed the construction of "Sixth Plant" in the headquarters'
site and starts operation on March 26th. Yushin is the dedicated
supplier of take-out robots for injection molding machines, carrying
the motto "Heartful Technology" (President Mayumi Kotani, headquarters
in Kyoto City, capital of 1.98566 billion yen).
Yushin began construction of the "Sixth Plant" last August to reinforce
the production capacity of traverse-type take-out robot, Yushin's
main product.
Yushin determined to carry out the construction to improve the production
capacity as part of a plan to achieve the consolidated annual sales
30,000,000,000 yen by 2011 fiscal period, as well as to meet the
present increasing demand in domestic automobile-related industry
and export to Chinese market of servo-driven traverse-type take-out
robot.
The four-storied "Sixth Plant" has 890.57 square meters area space
and 2646.907 square meters floor space. The construction cost is
approximately 500 million yen.
Explanation for each floor
1st floor
This is a floor for production of large-size servo-driven traverse-type
take-out robot (600~3000ton class) and high-speed take-out robot.
In the 1st floor, up to 4 ultra- large-size take-out robots (2500~3000ton)
can be assembled and adjusted at the same time. Additionally, pits
are set for vertical full-stroke operation.
2nd floor
Office area from which people can look over the 1st floor
3rd floor
This floor is an assembly area for servo-driven traverse-type take-out
robot, Yushin's main product, on the basis of *cell production system.
4th floor
Clean room with 1000 clean level is equipped to manufacture the
machines applicable for clean molding environment. Air shower and
preparation room are attached to it.
Yushin anticipates that assembly lead time of servo-driven traverse-type
take-out robot decreases by approximately 30% and production capacity
of servo-driven traverse-type take-out robot increases by approximately
50%.
* Cell production system
In assembly manufacturing, one or couples of workers are in charge
of parts installation to final assembly. They do their work on a
work table called "cell" on which parts and tools are arranged in
a specified shape such as horseshoe.
