Yushin Precision Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in 1971 as a dedicated manufacturer of labor-saving automated equipment. In 1978, Yushin took its first steps into the world of take-out robots with a series of swing-type take-out robots called the MIG series. At that time, the need for automation in the plastics molding plant was growing as demand for plastic molded products grew and as the industry entered a period of high growth with a shortage of labor. As a machine manufacturer, Yushin began to explore the possibilities inherent in this new world and eventually designed a take-out robot that automated extraction and made reduced labor a reality in injection molding processes. Once one need was satisfied, however, other needs began to arise. In the 1980s, there was a call for take-out robots to begin doing more than simply removing products from molds; manufacturers wanted robots that could stock and transport products and that could be easily put to work in subsequent processes as well. Also, improved production efficiency through high-speed molding became a primary focus of interest. As the industry entered the 1990s, "multi-function" and "high-speed" became keywords as we worked to develop robots that met these needs. |
