Support

This page offers information for servicing support for your Yushin products and lists products that are no longer being serviced by Yushin.

If trouble occurs in a Yushin product

Before contacting Yushin, please prepare the following information. This information helps service support go more smoothly.

Name plate

Below information can be found from the name plate on the controller or the robot body.

  1. 1. Model
  2. 2. Serial No.
  3. 3. MFG (manufacturing) date
Program No.

Found on the label affixed to SD cards, CF cards, floppy disks and other program media, this number identifies the robot's operating program. It is also shown on the controller information window. Program issues are specific to the program, therefore please verify the program No. so that we can properly address your issue.

Error code

With certain troubles, an error code is indicated on the controller display, servo amplifier or other unit. Error codes are instrumental towards pinpointing the cause of your trouble. Before resetting your Yushin product, check and note any error codes.

Input / Output

Similar to error codes, input/output indications are another source of helpful information for locating the cause of your trouble. Therefore, before resetting your Yushin product, be sure to check the status of its lamps. (Lamps are found on signal monitor screen on each model. Please refer to your instruction manual for how to access the screen.)

Besides this, please be as detailed as possible when explaining the timing, frequency and other peculiarities of your problem.

Take-out robot preventative maintenance

Take-out robots often run 24 hours a day to keep production lines producing. In order to avoid unexpected trouble, we strongly recommend having your Yushin product periodically checked and tuned by way of "preventative maintenance". Our service staff will inspect your take-out robot with the eye of an expert and propose the best solution that will guide you towards the production efficiency you desire, whether that be to service or replace worn parts or to update aged robots that have become difficult to maintain.
